How do I stop getting junk e-mails ?

I get lots of junk emails and wandered if there is anything I can do to stop them ? Spam filter ?

iPhone 4 (8GB), iOS 6.1.3

You have to control spam on the mail server and not the iPad. Try switching to Gmail, they have good spam filter.

There are no spam filters on the iPad in the mail app. You will have to create the filters or use the filters that your email provider offers on the server in your webmail account.
