Can someone tell me how to get my taskbar from disappearing? I've done something to make it disappear when my mouse moves away from it, and I don't know how to fix it. Can someone provide me with the steps to get it back?

I had this happen too. I clicked the third grey circle on top left (to get out of full screen mode). Your app will shrink now and show your dock on bottom and taskbar on top of screen. Then I just hovered over the edges of the app window until a double arrow showed and clicked and dragged the edges of the app to the edge of the screen to make it large. Hope this helps.
The app you are on is in full screen. Like if you are on say Firefox, go to the top left corner below the apple there will be the red, yellow and green circles, press the green one, this should take you back out of full screen and your task bar should be there. Hope that helps
This helped. I found I had to drag my windows to a useable size after backing out of full screen.
I think you have put an app in full-screen mode. To get out of full-screen mode, move the cursor to the top right of the display and press the blue rectangle, so the application will be showed as a window again

I am having that same issue with the taskbar and doctors appearing. I wanted to remain and not have to scroll my mouse over it.
I do not have that option to hide and show menu bar only the option to use dark menu bar and dock
I am using Excel. The bottom bar where all the spreadsheets are named keeps compressing and the names disappear and now the whole work book keeps freezing on my and I can't maneuver either to the right or left to view and edit my spreadsheets within a workbook. Help
Thank you for your reply, but I don't mean the dock on the bottom, I'm talking about the toolbar on the top. When I move my mouse it disappears, when I bring my mouse back up there it reappears. I want it to stop doing that.
If by "up and down arrows" is meant the ones in the upper right corner of the Safari window, I have those as well.
Except when I click the "enter full screen" arrows they no longer appear, and I click Escape to exit full-screen view.
When you click on the up/down arrows, do they back-highlight in blue? If so, then you are in Full Screen Mode. The menu bar will disappear in that mode. If you click those blue up/down arrows again, you will leave Full Screen and the Menu bar should stay visible.
So, if you do that, and are out of Full Screen, does the menu bar come back?
If you restart, does it fix it?
If that doesn't help, can you boot into Safe Mode and see if everything works correctly?
go to the doc . on the right you will see some dots or margin click on it , it may be between icons. a pop up will show giving you options of what to do to customise the doc

I believe you need to click command+shift+f.
Is there a way to keep the toolbar on the screen even when you're in full screen? I want to be able to glance up and see the time and date...always...regardless of the screen size I'm in. Thx!
