    You can't.

To get iCloud you must be running 10.7.2 or greater.

Thanks Allan.  So now, how do I get a newer verson?  Do I need to purchase it or can I download it for free?  What version does my MAcBook support?

The first thing that has to be determined is exactly what version of OS X your Mac can run.

Either you can look up the spec for the various versions of OS X and make the determination yourself or you can provide the spec on your Mac here and we will look it up for you.

The first step will be to upgrade to Snow Leopard which will require you to purchase the Snow Leopard install DVD from Apple and install that.
