Dear apple support,i have MacBook Pro 17 (mid 2009,8gb ram 1333mhz,core 2 duo 2.8 ghz,os x 10.8.3)
I decided to upgrade my old 500gb hdd to new and faster 1 tb hdd,and change super drive to 120 gb ssd.in my city i can buy only sata 3 hard drives but i dont know- will sata 3 hard drive work with my macbook pro?

no one works for apple here.
but SATA 3 drives are backwards compatible to SATA 2.
you won't have any issues installing a SATA 3 drive in your Macbook PRO.

You will be better off putting the SSD in the main bay and moving the standard drive to the optical bay.
Also, depending upon your MBP, you may have problems uing a SATA-III (6.0 Gbps) drive in your optical bay. I believe that the 2009 model that you indicate you have should be fine, as it only supports SATA-II (3.0 Gbps) operations, but keep in mind that some macbook pro models don't like having fast hard drives in the optical bay...
