2013 27" iMac doesn't work in Target Display Mode w. 2013 MiniMac??

Wanted to run a 2013 MiniMac in bootcamp/Win7 and display on my 2013 27" iMac w. Thunderbolt Target Display Mode ... and it worked .. for a brief time. All worked fine as I was bringing up and configuring the MiniMac ... beautiful desktop display, and all seemed OK ... until I went to partition the MiniMac under bootcamp ... when the MiniMac was restarted the Target Display Mode would no longer work ... tried swapping cables, restarting both machines, unplugging all peripherals and 115v. cords, etc...

When I go to About This Mac on the iMac, and get a report, it shows my TBolt HD connected to one of the Tbolt ports, but "No Device Connected" in the TBolt port connected to the MiniMac ... swapping ports between the HD and MiniMac has no effect ... still "No Device Connected" ...

Any suggestions??

That's strange ... Apple Support said it would work fine, and it did ... but only for about 30 min .... still working w. tech support to solve. And, the tech support specialist for Thunderbolt also said it will work fine, with the mini running either MacOS or Windows under Bootcamp ... I can't get it to work w. either MacOS or Bootcamp ...
