why is my safari quit grayed out/ can't quit safari
Why is the ablility to quit safari on my mac air grayed out? can't quit safari - not sure what happened

Because there's a dialog box open which needs to be dismissed before it can be quit normally. If desired, choose Force Quit from the Apple menu and shut Safari down from there.
