Learned after 6 iphones - "FIND MY PHONE" THIS TIME

SO I have been through 6 Iphones since Nov from them swimming, to going in the garbage on dump day to my dog ate it (now that one is a joke)..

I thought I learned a lesson and downloaded the app"FIND my phone".

Only problem - I have it all running etc BUT I thought it was lost in the house so I wasnt to stressed til I found myself consistanly want to iworld.... Evidentally I realize I had this app but it had been about 3 hours and the phone evidentally is ded. I was told that if it is saved it Icloud which it is, that it could still be located??? Anyone know, TRUE or FALSE? It also states in icloud that it will give you the last 24 hour location and it never gave me any information...

One more question? Why pay for Insurance for a phone when the DEDUCTIBLE IS THE SAME AS THE RETAIL VALUE?

Do they sell retraticable chains for around the neck for iphones???
