Q: why is my apple id password not working after the update?

I have updated to the Apple TV ios 6.1.3 and I no longer can access my itunes account via the Apple TV for purchases or rental.  Any Suggestions?  I have not changed hardware in my setup at all in the past several months and the only difference was the iOS download.
