Q: Can I use my Zune on my iMac

My husband will not give up his Zune because he doesn't want to loose all his music.  We just bought an iMac and the employee at the store said it wouldn't be a problem but I can't get it to work.  Has anyone had any luck or any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

To use the Zune with your Mac, you have to install the Zune Sync Client, available in the Mac App Store. To access to the Mac App Store, just go to  > App Store, or select the App Store icon on the Dock, and then, search and install this application. Finally, open it and connect your Zune to manage its songs

There's an app on the Mac App Store called Windows Phone  that says it works with any Windows phone or Zune HD.

Going to need to prep your husband that it is only a matter of time before he will lose the access to that music.  Microsoft stopped supporting the Zune.  It is just a matter of time before the shut off the activation servers and you can not active/authorize it to play any more.

Unsubstantiated FUD.  Zune Music Pass was migrated to Xbox Music Pass back in 2012.  All his music will still be there along with activation / authorization services.  Now, on the other hand, when his Zune finally wears out, then he'll have to get another MP3 player.
