Q: can't join photostream on mac

I have set up and activated photo stream on my mac, but when I click the invitation link to join a photostream, it just tells me to set up icloud. I am already signed in and everything - makes no sense.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Try signing out of iCloud on your Mac, close System preferences. reopen and sign back in. Then give it another go.
