I have an error message with an iPod frowning and a yield sign...what does that mean?

a while back, my iPod got wet. I dried it out, and it seemed fine, but it's now displaying an error message with a frowning iPod, and a yield sign with an exclamation point in it...and it directs me to www.apple.com/support, but nowhere on the site do I see anything that indicates what that means or how I'm supposed to procede. Does anyone have any advice or ideas? I put it in rice for two days, as well, and the iPod seemed to respond well. It's almost as if there's some kind of short circuit in it, though....
