I am going to buy the Macbook Pro with Retina Display.
I saw a picture online of the keyboard lit up in rainbow colors...
Can the laptop really light up like that or does it only glow white or one single color?
If the computer can do this, do I need to purchase a certain program or something?

Whoever owns that Mac put some type of colored filters under the keys above the lights. So the answer is no unless you take all the key caps off and do the same thing with colored filters. And that would VOID your warranty.
It's a Computer not a candycane or a show piece. Buy a piece of Art if you want a show piece.
