I print to a canon pixma MX860. I have never had problems, but today can't print any photos from iphoto without them being horribly blurry. Even photos I have printed before (and know they are fine). What can I do to fix this?
iMac (20-inch Early 2008), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
Export one of the photos to the Desktop, open with Preview and print. Do you get the same blurriness? If you do then it's a printer problem and you will need to run thecleaning/maintenance procedures with the Canon IJ Printer Utility application to clear inkjet nozzles, etc.
If the photo prints OK in Preview post back.

Usualy this is user error but without you telling us exactly what you are doing there is not way to =even guess what is wrong

Hi - I'm using iPhoto '11 (version 9.5) on a MacBook Pro with Mavericks and now I'm having the issue of blurry prints when going through the iPhoto print dialog. When I export a photo to the desktop and print from Preview, the image is sharp. I obviously have a work around, but would prefer the convenience of printing direct from iPhoto. I'm using an HP Photosmart 6510, but I don't think is a printer issue. Any thoughts? Thanks!
i have iphoto 09. I went to print the photos the same way I always have, and today they are coming out blurry.
i go to print and click on print and go through tthe print dialog box . being rude and snarky doesn't help anyone.
What settings in the dialogue box?
