iMovie and iOS Device Cameras

Every time I connect my iPod Touch to my computer, if iMovie is open, it opens the camera import window and asks me if I want to import video off of my iPod. You can turn off this sort of feature for iPhoto, but any idea how to turn it off in iMovie?
