Mar 24, 2013 11:39 PM in response to lightbringerby barneygumble78,My Imac 27 has the same issue.
Before 10.8.3 it worked w/o problems. Always up, sleep during nighthours.
After this update, I need to reset the machine once a day. It happens it wakes up from sleep but nothing is working (keyboard and mouse) until reset.

Mar 27, 2013 3:54 AM in response to barneygumble78by atreloar,I'm seeing the same symptoms described in this thread, but I don't use Safari. I get them when using Chrome (as well as sometimes when using other apps, including the wireless icon in the menu bar!). I've just gone through the pain of downgrading to 10.8.2 (thanks to TM) to get back to a stable system again. I hope.

Mar 31, 2013 3:07 AM in response to lightbringerby barneygumble78,what I've done is to download and reinstall the update in combo format.
I did not have any crash so far (2 days) but I've limited the use of Safari. I hope it continues in this way
Anyway I hope this could help you.

Mar 31, 2013 5:47 AM in response to trumpetmasterby petermac87,You can try directing your issues to Apple
http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
or else try downloading and installing the Combo Update for 10.8.3 from here

Apr 2, 2013 6:25 AM in response to lightbringerby Andrea Mollica,Same for me.
Safari 6.0.3 and OSX 10.8.3
I suffer frequent freezes, when surfing the net.
I have to manually shut down the computer.
Frustrating!

Apr 2, 2013 1:30 PM in response to Andrea Mollicaby petermac87,What third party/security/anti-virus are you running? Have you tried turning off your extensions in Safari Preferences?

Apr 3, 2013 12:51 AM in response to petermac87by Andrea Mollica,Hi Pete!
I'm runnin' no third party antiviruses. I never ran 'em.
The only Safari extension I use is the button that closes all the tabs at once.
I turned it off, but to no avail.
[EDIT]: I also sent a message to Apple via the link you provided in your last post. Hope it works...

Apr 15, 2013 1:52 PM in response to lightbringerby Eric Root,Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist. Hold down the option key while using the Finder "Go To Folder" command. Enter ~/Library. Delete the .plist(s) for the application.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/04/show-library-directory-in-mac-os-x-lion/
You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.2. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.
If that doesn't fix the problem, try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.
General information.
