Q: OS X 10.8.3 + Safari 6.0.3 = Freezes/Restarts

Anyone else experiencing complete system freezes (keboard unresponsive, mouse not functioning, hard restart necessary) after installing 10.8.3 and running Safari?

Did NOT expereince having to hard Restart my iMac Once-A-Day before this update.

Seems to occur only when I'm surfing the Internet using Safari.

I'll try another browser and see if the problem recreates itself.

iMac (24-inch Early 2008), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

I'm having the same problems. I've reinstalled the combo version but still the same. Mine problems only happen when Safari is running. At the moment I'm on Firefox and the machine works perfectly but when I add Safari into the mix, it's slow connecting to pages and it hangs every two minutes making the whole machine unresponsive. I have deleted the relevant plist and don't have any browser extentions running either. But still no joy

All my woes began when I updated to 10.8.3. It's a sad day when an update from Apple reduces your machine to a lump of posh clay and an even sadder one when the chief culprit is an in house piece of software.

    I was a fool...
