Recharging frequency?

how does charging cycle affect life of batteries? Does frequent recharging shorten long term life of battery?

No, it doesn't. Charge when you need to. The one thing that's said to shorten battery life is to constantly run it down to near nothing then charge. It's suggested that you can do that once a month or so to calibrate the battery sensor, but many people charge their iPads every day. All depends on how much you use them (I usually charge mine 2-3 times a week)
