Using Mac Book in China

I just got my blac Mac Book and am going to China in a couple of weeks. Do I just need a plug adapter or do I also need an eletrical converter for this trip??

User uploaded fileI wen to China not some 5 months ago and you will have no problems with you MacBook. Just remember to bring a few different plug adapters. For the most part my European plug worked in most hotels. Oddly, a large number of hotels had the Australian angled flat pin type plugs in the rooms.

Also, be sure to get yourself a notebook surge protector. Well worth the $20 investment.

Don't bother taking any adaptors. In most places it will fit withouth the need for one and in the remote case you need one, the hotel will provide it for you. Worse case scenario you spend 10 RMB (1.25 USD) and that's the end of it. I lived in China for almost four years and they try to have universal power plugs almost everywere, even in the remote SW provinces.
