HELP! Problem Projecting Numbers Document

I am trying to project a Numbers document from my iPad onto a projector via the 30pin to VGA adaptor. In the past, this has worked fine, projecting full screen. However on this document it is squeezing it vertically. - I think 16:9. Are there any settings on the iPad I can change? Help - I have less than 30 minutes.
