pleas help I have over 9000 emails and they just keep coming can anyone help me to stop this and to delete them all

I have over 9000 emails and they just keep coming, I think it is all the emails I have ever had. I need to stop this happening and also delete them all. I am new to mac so not sure what is happening or why. Please help some one.
