iPhone 4S with broken lock button but can buy one for £140? Look below essential.

Ok so i have an iPhone 4S with a sticky lock button. I went in to Apple and they offered me a brand new one for £140. However, would i be able to say pay a bit more and get an iPhone 5 or is that not possible? I wouldnt be interested in paying full price just to get the latest one. Also im on o2 contract; only half way through so if i just put in the new sim would it work?

Please please help can't find any answer anywhere!

Out of Warranty replacement will get you the same iPhone in the same

color as you turn it. Apple does not do tradeins to upgrade.

What new sim? Why would you not use the sim from the iPhone that

is being replaced? Perhaps a little more info as to what you are trying

to accomplish will allow someone to give you a better answer.

Apple offered you a service exchange iPhone 4S not new

although the unit will look new and act like new

it will be EXACTLY like the faulty one and it will be locked to the Carrier the faulty iPhone

is locked to ...O2 you say

That is it no upgrades and your O2 sim will slip in and you will be back to normal

after activating and syncing with iTunes
