How do I access iCloud mail via Safari on iPad?

I need to find old emails in my iCloud account. If I search on the iPad, the search doesn't seem to go as far back as I need and the older emails don't appear. I tried going www.icloud.com but it redirects to a page telling me how to install iCloud on the iPad... Any clues? Thank you very much!

You cannot open iCloud.com in Safari on iPad. You would need to use a computer, or an alternative browser such as iCab on your iPad to access it directly.

You need to change iCab's configuation so it presents itself to iCloud.com as a Desktop Browser so it lets you access the full iCloud.com.

I believe you can do it from its Settings under Browser ID or something similar. Set it to a Desktop Browser.
