my ipod touch wont show up on my computer or itunes, and ive tried all of the things it says to do, what should i do?

Did you do everything here:

Including
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
New cable and different USB port?
Runs this and see if the results help with determine the cause
