I want to use this app to hide explicit content in my library and ipod from kids. I downloaded it but how do I move the files I want hidden to the app, then how do I protect them? there seems to be no help or support for this app...

Yes that's the app, but it is listed (google and otherwise in the description) as a way to password protect or hide certain video files or pictures. Is this not correct? If it cannot be used for that do you know of an APP that can? Thanx for the fast reply...
Hmm just clicked on those links, they appear to be for the iphone and ipad as the format looks different. Do the same rules apply for the ipod touch? The app looks like a heart that is also a lock.

I finally figured out how to move files into the app, but only via USB, I would like to be able to use the library option as well. Do I then delete the videos from my movies section and they will still be viewable in the app?

Apple does no allow one app to control another app. Thus you will not find an app to password protect other apps.
The GoodReader app allows you to PW protect individual folder and files as will as the whole app. It is $4.95 but an excellent app.
What do you men by library option?

They don't have that app, they have the one I provided the link to.
In the app itself. When you go to add files to a folder you have seceral options how.
Camera (which i don't have because its an older ipod touch)
Computer
Library
Wi-Fi/bluetooth
Have you goine to the developers website to see if they have a tutorial?
I did and all they have is the second link of my first reply. Not much at all.

Thanks for the help both of you. I think I figured it out, and no the developer does not offer much help, or reply to emails if you read the reviews.
**I then went back on my device and deleted the videos from my videos section and was still able to view them once I opened the app**
**I also went back and deleted them from my library so they don't show up there either, I just kept the files in my media folder in case they don't sync up or there is some other problem next time.

P.s. deggie they actually have both apps. I got ripped off by buying the 1st one at $1.99 then when I tried to use it there was a link that said get "full" version where it directed me back to the store to the version you suggested for another $2.99...********. I would have gone with Illaass's response but I had already bought it before I read the post.
Since it is related I thought I would ask it here. Anyone familiar with how to change the password in MyMedia (or whatever it's called)? I have one but I would prefer a dot password.....If not, not the end of the world...at least it works now.
