Q: Embedded font not evenly displaying in iBooks

Hi everyone - I'm authoring my first ebook. I do have a little knowledge of code. I'm using Dreamweaver to debug the code, Calibre to convert, and testing the result on the following apps/devices:

Nook for Mac (Macbook Pro/Snow Leopard)

Kindle for Mac (Macbook Pro/Snow Leopard)

Nook Tablet

Nook for iPhone

iBooks for iPhone

Sorry - not sure what happened just now - the forum posted my question before I'd finished typing it. Will continue in a reply.

The problem is this. I've embedded a font. It's displaying correctly in every app/device combination, except iBooks. However, the actual problem in iBooks is this - the font displays correctly in every other chapter, almost without fail.

Every chapter is formatted in exactly the same way as every other one, with the same HTML and CSS. I'm not sure why only every other chapter accepts the embedded font.

The font is compatible - iBooks is displaying it sometimes - so incompatibility is not the issue.

Thanks for any help, or even any corroboration!

Well, guess what - after tearing my hair out for the equivalent of 24 hours, over 3 days, I found the hack, not long after posting the original question. Wrap the offending chapter in a container. Works good.
