Q: How can we convince Apple to bring back AppleWorks?

I've been using OS 10.7 for a year and a half, and can only run AppleWorks on my old machine - once it gives up the ghost, I won't be able to use it at all. Numbers and Pages are adequate, but they don't have the ease of use and the flexibility of AppleWorks. Ditto for EZDraw (whose text function *****). AppleWorks is lean, efficient, multifaceted, and easy to use - for my money, it's one of the best apps that Apple has ever produced. I'd sure love to see it developed for 10.7 and beyond...

I wonder how many folks are using the server. I'm hoping to get some comments before I jump into it. Also, even if it works how much trouble is it to switch back and forth?

Many people report over on the MacRumors thread quite a bit of success.

Some only boot Parallels when Snow Leopard Server is needed and some leave it running all the time.

Using SLS is functionally no different than using SL. I even removed the Server apps from the Dock, so as to not be confused.
