What is network name?

It's the name you have assigned to your home network in your network router, like "John's Network." You assigned both the name and a login password via the security setup.

Like Kappy said, it is the name of your network. To connect to the WiFi you will need to click on your WiFi name and then enter the password in settings by going to Settings>Wi-Fi>Click your network name.
