Double Page Spread?

Hello, is it possible to make a double page spread on pages? I'm making a magazine, and would like to be able to have a double page spread. Any possibilities?

Thanks.

With a work around it is possible. You need two copies of the same image 8I suppose you want an image over two side by side pages).

Here is the first copy added to the left page and resized to fill also the right page. I have at the bottom of the page clicked on the zoom and selected Two up.

Then I added the secon copy on the right page and resized it to fill to the left.

Hi Ben,

Make a mock-up with paper. Fold some sheets in half and write page numbers.

Now page 1 and 2 are facing together, and I want page 2-3 to be facing eachother.

No. In a book or magazine, page 1 is always a right hand page. Page 2 is printed on the back of page 1 and is a left hand page.

A mock-up will show. Here is a screenshot of a booklet cover. Two pages in landscape, each with text boxes on left and right. Print back-to-back. Fold in half.

And so on for inside pages.

Hi fruhulda,

I like your screenshot. I have much to learn! You are right. In a book or magazine, page 2 is on the left, and it faces page 3 on the right. Your layout is good when reading a book on a computer. Ben (Original Poster) asked how to print a magazine. A magazine is on real paper, printed on both sides.

I was puzzled how page 1 can face page 2 when they print back-to-back?!

I thought that Ben wanted to print double pages (two A5 text boxes on landscape A4 sheets).

I took 4 sheets of A4 paper, folded them in half to make an A5 booklet, numbered the pages and I got this:

Otside Back Cover Outside Front Cover

Inside Front Cover Inside Back Cover

Page 12 Page 1

Page 2 Page 11

Page 10 Page 3

Page 4 Page 9

Page 8 Page 5

Page 6 Page 7

If Ben wants a centrefold in a magazine using 4 folded sheets of paper (outside sheet is the cover), Pages 6 and 7 will do it.

Ben, please reply with more information. Will you fold the paper in half? Is the magazine stapled down the middle, or on the left? Take look at Peter's tips:
