I noticed recently that not all of my contacts were synchronized between my iPhone 5 and my MacBook Pro (Mac OS 10.8.2, btw). On my iPhone, some of the contact infos are stored on iCloud, and the others on the iPhone itself (I truly don't know why), and only the contacts on iCloud sync with the contacts app on the MBP. Does someone know how to solve this?

Add your contact into iCloud contacts www.icloud.com
Then delete the local copy on your phone and you should be all set.
Thanks! But is there any other way? Because that means I would have to copy nearly all my address book...
Did you immediately set up iCloud when you got your phone? Any contacts synced to your phone should or made on your phone should all be from iCloud. Are you sure that the contacts you are speaking of don't belong to an email account or Facebook? In that case your contacts on your phone would be a combination of iCloud and any other accounts.
I did, but somehow some contacts slipped through. And yes, I'm pretty sure these are "normal" contacts, most of them are only phone numbers.
There might be, but unless you have 100's of contacts to copy it should be quick on a keyboard.
Also check under settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - that your default under Contacts is iCloud.

Thanks to all of you! Finally, I copied them manually, took about 15 minutes. And I checked my settings, wierdly iCloud is set as default... I'll never know what happened!
I've just got an iPhone, and noticed, like some people, that there were some differences in my contacts list. Like you I was miffed as contacts on iPhone and MBA were not in perfect harmony. On my iPhone I tried turning the contacts off on iCloud then turning back on again and, hey presto, the changes on my MBA synced with the phone. I'm not at all technical (retired 60 something lady) and was as annoyed as anyone that my 200+ contacts didn't sync automatically but this worked for me, hope it helps someone else too.
