m-audio prosession loops are crashing garageband 6.0.5

Hi all, I have several different macs to include the mid 2007 imac, mid 2011 imac and a 2007 powerbook. On all three, I use garageband, and recently installed my m-audio prosessions loops. What's happening, is after I drag a loop into a track, I am unable to drag anymore loops to work with. After I close the program and try to re-open the song, it says: updating to new song format and hangs on the blue candy cane. Any ideas, or do I just need to accept that the loops aren't going to work? My 2011 imac is running mountain lion.... my 2007 imac is running snow leopard and my powerbook is running os 10.5.8. So it's happening on many different levels.
