What is the difference between AppleCare and AppleCare ?

AppleCare is available for all Apple devices and extends the standard warranty period by one or two years depending on the device. AppleCare+ is only offered for the iPhone and iPad, extends the warranty period and adds the out-of-warranty replacement program for two such events. Those are accidental damage events such as water or dropping. The cost of replacement is significantly lower under AppleCare+. AC+ is not offered in all countries.

AppleCare Plus...only available in the US & Canada, offers an out of warranty replacement(think water damaged), for US $49. You get two incidents during AppleCare Plus' duration. Regular AppleCare does not offer this.
