How do I correct the "access denied on this server" message that I get when I try to access a website?
How do I correct the "access denied on this server" message that I get when I try to access a website?
Have you contacted your ISP? Have you tried using OpenDNS servers?
I am not very computer savvy, how do I do these things?
Is your date, time, and Time zone set to within five minutes of the correct time? This is required for encrypted (httpS: sites).
It happens even though I was just on the same web site earlier that day.
Yes, all dates, times and time zones are correct.
Sometimes I am already on the web site and I am trying to open navigate to another part of that site. Fior instance, I was on the Herbalife site and could view evrything but when I went ti log in it wuld not let me get to the log in page. message read:
You don't have permission to access "/D/5472/139991/000/geo.my.herbalife.com.akadns.net/" on this server.

What web sites are denying you access? Every web site or just some? What bowser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? What operating system is running on what model MacBook Pro?
I have tried Safari and Google Chrome. Operating system is lion os x10.8.3, dont know the exact Macbook Pro model but I just got it in December.
The websites vary. Its not always the same site. Sometimes Amazon, Herbalife, Ebay, Etc
I'm having the exact same problem. It weven ahappened to me on this web site:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "/L/4233/119531/2h/discussions.apple.com/index.jspa" on this server.

How do I fix this?
I'm having the same problem with my Macbook Air. The problem seems to go away sometimes when I restart, but allways. ???
... and when you get that message, does the URL line shown show
a) http: OR
b) httpS: ??
(which one??)
Can you opost here or do other things that require httpS:
I don't remember. I'll have to wait until it happens again and make a note of it. Restarting seems to cure it from the site that was denied access. I've had it happen on Facebook and even Google.
It has an S.
The problem still persists.
