I got a similar email stating 'Please verify the email address accociated with your Apple ID.
The spelling for associated was wrong and they asked for Credit card detail once clicked. i have never used my CC on apple. Always redemmed a card. Never believe these emails. Always see the email ID as it was Apple.com instead of apple.com.
