JAM Apogee problem

Hi I've got a problem with the jam apogee I bought. The thing is, that when I plug it in in my phone nothing happens.. no reaction either on the phone or jam device. The wierdest thing is that it works with the ipad and other phones but not mine, and still there's no problem with the charging. Maybe there's some kind of setting on? Has anyone got any suggestion of what it could be?
