Hello.
Is there a way to view the photo(graph)s bigger on a digital camera (not an iPhone) in iPhoto before importing? This is in Mac OS X 10.8.3 on a 13.3" MacBook Pro from 2012. It doesn't seem to have that option. It only appearsafter importing them? 😟

If you upload them to a folder on the Desktop with Image Capture you can view then with Quicklook, i.e. select the first in the folder and hit the Space bar. Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll thru them.

So, iPhoto can't do this without any third party softwares. IPhoto's thumbnails, before importing, are tiny. 😟
They're your camera's thumbnails...
Quick look is NOT third party software - it is standard Apple software included in the OS of every Mac
To make suggestion to Apple for ideas you personally would like to see included in iPhoto - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback

It's magic. Specifically, magic performed by iPhoto. When you import the images it makes its own scalable thumbnails. See?
