Itunes 11.0.2 could not backup the iphone because an error occurred

Try start computer iTunes > Preferences (Windows: Edit > Preferences) > Devices > delete your iPhones backup.

Connect and select iPhones in iTunes sidebar, right click and choose Back Up.

Maybe you need to restore as new then sync back the content manually.

I've seen a few posts that suggest going to iTunes with the phone connected and unckeck "Sync with this iPhone over WiFi" on the iPhone Summary tab. If it's not checked, try checking, then unchecking it. This is 3rd hand; I haven't experienced this problem myself.

Mine doesnt work. I deleted my current itunes and downloaded new itunes. Restored my iphone 5 from the last backed up. when the restoration is complete, I restarted my windows computer as well as my iphone. but stil the problem still persists.

What is the problem that persists? You have just posted to a very old thread and it isn't clear what your problem is. You would probably get a helpful response if you started a new question and describe your problem in some detail.
