When I install iTunes, i get this message: "The settings used by iTunes drivers for importing and burning CD's are missing" as a result i can't download music or import musid

When I install iTunes I get the following message: "The settings used by iTunes drivers for importing and burning cd's are missing:" As a result, I cannot import any music nor can I export any to my iPhone. I have installed iTunes 5 times using a newly downloaded .exe file each time. I purchases an album from the iTunes store and can't find it anywhere.
