Why does Safari minimize on launch?

Safari opens a new window (on startup) minimized.

It's not a problem, but it's weird and annoying. After quitting and launching again it opens normally.

I'm running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
