I subscribe to a podcast that has the "explicit" tag. I was able to listen to it until a couple of days ago. Looking under my "Restrictions", "Allowed Content" has "Music & Podcasts" set to "Clean" and the option is grayed out; I can't edit it. Any thoughts on how to allow all conent or what I might be doing wrong? Thanx for your help and expertise.

You have to change your restriction. That would involve going to Settings > General > Restrictiona and entering the restrictions passcode and removing the "Clean" restriction.
Thank you for the quick reply. I believe that it is related to restrictions placed by one of the Profiles installed related to it being a work phone. I will follow up with my IT department.
That sounds like the right approach. Profiles do not come standard with the iPhone; they are introduced by some entity like a Corporate IT group.

The solution is in the posts above yours - go into your restrictions and enter the password to allow it.

I had the same problem. Turned out that ml120883 is headed to right direction, i had work related installed profile (Crashlytics Beta Profile), and after deleting it, music and podcast menu become available, i changed clean to explicit, reinstall profile and now everything is working.

Same here. Got in touch with support. I don't have any profiles set up and my restrictions are disabled. As usual they have no clue and asked me to reset endlessly to no avail. This has to be my worst upgrade experience. Looks like sending apple those useless feedback might be the only way out.

This is happening to people around the world. Wait for the outrage to grow. I'm guessing Apple will reverse this after its 3 month trial period of apple music. But seriously, this is terrible planning and execution from apple.
Well, the reason why you are seeing that option 'Greyed' is because of the country which you have selected in your iTunes account. This has got nothing to do with your phone being a work phone or a personal iphone or because of some corporate profile. If you choose your country as UK or US, then you will be able to change that restriction for music and podcast. But sadly then your credit card might not work easily with apple music or you might pay more because apple music is not priced the same everywhere.
Technically if the restrictions are disabled for an iphone, then this setting shouldn't be applicable at all. I feel its an iOS 8.4 glitch, which apple might resolve in the next release.
