Thank you for your help. Can I download the program from the app store? I need to print it out to look like a written report (not in excel view form).
Numbers is available in the Mac App Store. Microsoft Office and OpenOffice are available on the developer's site.

Another question... Will I be able to save the .xlsx attachment into another format like pdf? If so, which program would you recommend?
When you've opened it, choose Print from the File menu, and then click the PDF button. As this option is provided by Mac OS X, it doesn't matter what program you use.
