iphone 3GS touchscreen problems - touchscreen does not respnd to commands properly

Hi everybody,

I have not found any relevant topic, so I start a new one.

The Touchscreen of my iPhone 3Gs sometimes does not work properly. It seems to respond to the commands as for instance when you touch on the numbers to unlock the code it seems to respond with the wrong numbers (like the row above or similar). it looks as if the touchscreen has gone mad and reacts to commands in a uncontrolled way.

This happened several times and the only way to recover the problem is to switch off the phone and swith it on again (more than once....).

has someone had the same problem?

Do you think it is a problem of the hardware of of the software?

What would you suggest to do? 😕

Thank you very much 🙂
