I added this question to determine once and for all the searching. here comes 2 simple questions. i want a clear answer without jabbing arround.

1. Does the macbook pro with retina support hdmi 1.4/1.4a with all his features ( also higher resolution then 1080p)

2. Does the hdmi on the macbook pro retina support also dolby true HD & DTS HD MA bitstream

did anyone hook up his mbpr to a new av receiver with hdmi & latest dolby en dts support.
