Whenever i plug my ipod shuffle into itunes it gets recognized, but for some reason it never charges. i did all the steps to reset it and it still doesnt work
iPod shuffle, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
When it is connected, how do you know it is not charging? What is the indication?
the led indicator light wont stay on as before then when I go to use it stays on for a little bit then the battery goes dead
You'll need to provide more info... When you connect it, the shuffle's light comes on briefly, but then goes out? Does the shuffle appear in iTunes?
Is your computer a Mac or Windows PC? If Windows, what release of Windows are you using? If Mac, what's the Mac model?

When you say "as before," I assume that means this shuffle worked properly before at some point. Was that with a different computer, or this same computer? If same computer, anything major that was different before when it worked properly?
