Problems with airplay using Yamaha network receiver

Need help despartely, have been struggling for one week. Here is the setup.

1. Yamaha Network Receiver VX-573, connected to network using powerline adapter

2. TP-Link TL-WR1043ND runnign Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/23/10)

3. Apple devices Iphone 5, Iphone 4S, Ipad 2 nd generation, running IOs 6.1 connected wirelessly to the same netwrok, same sub-net

Problem:

1. When connected airplay through the Itunes on computer wired using the powerline adapter, the receiver plays the content.

2. Airplay icon appears on wireless apple devices, and the Yamaha receiver is present and selected. The airplay icon turns orange, the recvier recognizes and changes input to airplay. However the airplay reverts back to white and the source on the apple device changes back to the idevice.

3. All are on the same network and as stated are able to connect and see each other, but when play is pressed no sound gets transmitted and the sourcs on idevice swithces back.

Pleaese assist, have tried many options including returning and exchanging the receiver.
