I've cancelled email imovie support notifications but they wont stop. How do I sort this out? My inbox is deluged with answers to questions I didn't ask or show an interest in.

Stopping email from here is a multi-step procedure. The settings are not all one place unfortunately and it is easy to overlook one.
Follow all the steps in the link provided above in the order given and you should be OK.
Post back if there is still a problem.
