Accidentally did a two camera shoot in 2 different Aspect Ratios? Can I change the one to match the other?

Is there a way to change 16:9 to 4:3 without it looking bad?

I have a dance recital that I would like to mix the two cameras but they are in two different aspect ratios. I know (*******)

Is there any thing I can to either one to match the other. Just got FCP X.

Thanks!!!

Depending on the respective aspect ratios, you will get either pillar boxing or letter boxing. (i,e,, if you drop a 16:9 into a 4:3, your wide screen clip wil be letterboxed…and so forth).

Depending on the respective resolutions, you may be able to fill out the frame by up-scaling. (Transform)

Try a few test and see what it looks like.

Good luck.
