I am trying to create a new event in fcpx , and I 1tb left on my ex drive. But keep getting " save operation could not be completed... Any idea what to do to fix
Does the drive appear in FCP? Check permissions for the drive.
I too have this issue all of a sudden. I have repaired disk permission and still have the issue
I am having this problem too. When it happens, I can't create a new event or project on ANY drive. Usually a reboot fixes it but I'm getting really tired of rebooting!
Did you repair permissions for each if your drives? Try running Disk Warrior to clean up the drive directories.
You can't repair permissions on a disk drive that doesn't have an OS on it. I did do a "repair drive" on each and they came back reporting no problems. As I said, when this happens (and I got it again this morning), I am not able to save a project or event to ANY DRIVE, and I tried them all. Rebooting always fixes it.
