Port mapping on Airport Extreme

Please someone help me.

I have a Airport Extreme Base Station.

I connect to the Internet with a Cable Modem (Motorola) with no porting capabilities.

I have published A Filemaker Pro DB with Instant Web Publishing (hosted on my MBPro)

To access the file on the WEB I need a Fixed IP address (done) and I have to use port-forwarding on the AIrport Extreme as the Motorola Modem can’t do this.

So in Internet Settings on the Airport Extreme:

1 The IPV6 Address is blank but the IPv4 of course registers my IP address

2 The Configure IPv6 address is set to Link-Local Only

3 The Router Mode is DHCP and NAT

4 And I have set the Port Settings: IPv4 Port Mapping

  • Public TCP Ports 80
  • Private TCP Ports 80

  • So I reckon that I should be able to see the Web Page published and hosted on my MBPro, but I can’t! So there is something wrong.

(Incidentally when I use a Belken Modem (with Port Forwarding capablities on ADSL) and the Airport is on Bridge mode, I can access the web page. )
