Mar 27, 2013 9:51 PM in response to jguerrero408by gail from maine,Hi jguerrero,
Is this a new issue for you? Have you had connection to your cellular provider in the past with this phone at this location? Here's why I ask. I live in the boonies in Maine, and our cellular connection at home is, at best, sucky.....by that, I mean, that 99% of the time, the phone is "Searching" for a connection. It's not the phone for me, because my husband's phone has the same issue. We both get great Wifi connections, but our AT&T cell tower just isn't close enough or strong enough to provide us with a strong connection. If we drive 10 miles south, we get a 3G connection. If we get a strong connection here at home, it is "Edge". So, in our case, it is all the cellular provider.
That's why I asked the first question, because you need to sort out whether you have an issue with your phone, or just junky cellular strength.....If you think it is your provider, give them a call to see what they can do to boost your signal strength.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
GB

Mar 27, 2013 10:20 PM in response to jguerrero408by gail from maine,Bummer! Not sure where to direct you since you have pretty much done all of the troubleshooting.....any chance you have an Apple Store nearby (in San Jose, I'm guessing, yes.....)? Maybe they might be able to take a look to see if it is something they can do something about?
Best of luck!
Cheers,
GB
p.s. - I know San Jose - I'm a native SoCal Girl....
