Change of apple id on iÅad

Hi everyone,

This is my first submission to this community, and I hope that you can help me. 6 months ago, we bought an iPad in our family. It was meant to be a shared iPad for all us to use. We started up, using my apple id, and purchased a few apps, including a couple of games.

In these 6 months, I've discovered, that I use the device less and less, and it would optimal, to change the "owner"/apple id to the one of my wife.

So my question is: how do I change the the apple id (easy) AND keep the apps and games, that my wife uses?

not possible

you change the appleID you loose the apps

apps are never tied to an ipad they are always tied to the appleID

if you borrow an ipad and loging with your appleID you can get all the apps you ever bought downloaded

free of charge

but as soon as the appleID is logg'd off they stop working

settings->Itunes & app store click on appleID and change it

is the way you change appleID

other issues with leaving your appleID on a device you no longer use is

1. if you have another ios device and use iMessages all msg's are also sendt to the ipad unless iMessage is turned off on it

2. it's not possible to facetime chat between devices using the same appleID
